Custodial Manager

Position Title: Custodial Manager.

Work Arrangement: On-site.

Location: Miami Gardens, FL.

Duration: Temporary role with potential for full-time conversion.

Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent).

Pay rate: $25.00 - $28.00.

Who we are looking for / Requirements:

Required Skills / Experience:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within janitorial services.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in management or hospitality is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

• Recruit, train, and supervise janitorial staff; develop schedules and assign tasks.
• Conduct team meetings, performance evaluations, and provide feedback for staff development.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations, inspections, and adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning protocols and specialized procedures as needed.
• Monitor inventory, procure supplies, and maintain equipment, coordinate with vendors for efficiency.
• Assist with budget management, track expenditures, and maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; provide safety training and address concerns.
• Serve as primary contact for client feedback, collaborate with facility management, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Working conditions:

• May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on facility hours.
• Requires physical stamina for inspections and training involving manual tasks.
• Expected exposure to cleaning chemicals and procedures.
