Pay: $20 per hour

Location: Naples, FL

Status: Temp-to-hire

Schedule (30 hours per week to start):

• Monday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Opportunity to increase to 40 hours per week after a few months based on performance and business needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to support the daily upkeep and improvement of the property. This role involves a high volume of painting, repairs, and power washing, along with general janitorial and maintenance duties. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work and does not need constant supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport trash and recycling dumpsters to designated collection areas on scheduled pickup days and return them after service
• Keep trash and recycling areas clean, organized, and free of debris
• Pick up litter and debris throughout property grounds and parking areas
• Perform frequent painting, repairs, power washing, and other basic maintenance tasks
• Assist the facilities maintenance manager and general manager as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning materials and equipment
• Report maintenance issues or building safety concerns promptly to management
• Provide courteous and professional interactions with residents and visitors

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds (dumpsters, recycling bins, equipment)
• Comfortable climbing and working on ladders up to 6 feet
• Ability to perform physical work indoors and outdoors throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred
• Must be a go-getter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
