Administrative Design Manager Location Miami, FL :

Hill International is seeking an Administrative Design Manager for our project in Miami, Florida

  • Ability to review design documents for scope compliance, and specifications for compliance with District Standards
  • Experience with SREF and Design and Material Standards preferred.
  • Review, edit, compose, and prepare documents for Director's signature or approval.
  • Review, compose, and continually update spreadsheets and documents.
  • Oversee payroll approval and review for department/division as directed.
  • Maintain supplies, initiate purchase orders, and authorize payment for received items.
  • Perform accounting functions, process invoices, and maintain project budget records.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications appropriate to the position including Primavera, In-design, and others.
  • Recording and transcribing of meeting minutes for executive committees.
  • Assists in the collection, preparation, input, and management of project information tracking software for multiple projects.
  • Assists in other duties and responsibilities that may be required as it relates to project management.
  • Oversees the AEPC/SBE/MBE assignment process and issuance of As-built drawings and FISH documents to assigned architects including compliance with assignments protocols.
  • Graphic design of construction signs and ordering of signage and payment approval
  • Coordinates with Contract Management for the adjustment of any budget sheet amounts.
  • Coordinate with Advance Planning for request of project numbers and status of Deficiency List.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of District practices, procedures, policies, and compliance with same.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public and respond to inquiries (internal and public).
  • Prefer bachelor's degree in architecture, business administration, education, or other related field.
  • Maintain staff's calendars, schedule appointments, and arrange meeting.
  • Education facilities experience is preferred.
