Our innovative and growing company is looking to fill the role of Intermediate Staff Accountant. Insigneo Financial Group (“Insigneo”) is comprised of a family of financial companies that provide a variety of products and services to retail and institutional investors throughout various jurisdictions domestically and Latin America.

Intermediate Staff Accountant Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by the Vice President of Accounting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Work closely with the Accounting and Procurement teams to provide consistent and accurate financial reporting for this growing operation
• Preparation and analysis of monthly journal entries across multiple entities
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure proper reporting and general ledger maintenance
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and provide solutions
• Provide and maintain documentation for external auditors
• Recommend ways to improve procedures and increase efficiencies
• Responsibility for the financials of various subsidiaries within our corporate hierarchy
• Assist in the Procurement and Treasury processes as needed
• Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Provide other duties as necessary

JOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting work-related experience
• Knowledge of cloud related ERPs systems a plus (Netsuite, Stampli, Floqast)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PDF
• Fluent in English and Spanish
