Planned Parenthood of Florida (PPFL) is seeking a dedicated full or part time Physician to join our team at our Health Center in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Physician with Planned Parenthood, you will be in a leadership role reporting to the Chief Medical Officer. Planned Parenthood Physician s deliver exceptional care while empowering clinical staff and advancing high-quality health services.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive women’s health care, including gynecology, family planning, sexually transmitted disease treatment, and mid-life services.
- Deliver surgical services, including medication and surgical terminations, in accordance with our standards and guidelines.
- Serve as a liaison between the Chief Medical Officer and clinical staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Support staff development through training, orientation, and coaching.
- Lead research initiatives and contribute to service expansion strategies.
- Ensure compliance with affiliate policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Who You Are
Requirements:
- Board-Certified MD or DO with a Florida State License.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in women’s health or family practice.
- Prescriptive authority with current licensure.
- Proven leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Commitment to quality healthcare, patient confidentiality, and excellent service.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with colposcopies, LEEP procedures, and ultrasound services.
- Familiarity with surgical and medication terminations.
- Dedication to health equity and a patient-centered approach.
