Remote E-Commerce Operations Director

In this pivotal role, you will manage the entire online sales ecosystem focused on driving revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your leadership will shape the e-commerce strategies and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless operations. You will lead website development initiatives, optimize user experience, and oversee digital marketing efforts. This position requires a strategic approach to integrate technology across various platforms while nurturing a customer-centric perspective throughout the shopping journey.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive revenue.
- Oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring functionality and performance.
- Implement digital marketing strategies to boost traffic and conversion rates.
- Manage day-to-day operations including order processing and inventory logistics.
- Analyze KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Enhance the customer experience from browsing to checkout.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with business goals.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to stay competitive in the market.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 6+ years with a Master’s in relevant fields.
- Proven track record in e-commerce strategy development and implementation.
- Experience in managing e-commerce operations in large organizations.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and customer engagement.
- Familiarity with managing platforms and integrating technologies (ERP, CRM).
- Experience working in regulated industries is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills to monitor performance data and KPIs.
