Position OverviewThe Tax Senior will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning for a diverse range of clients, ensuring adherence to IRS regulations and accounting principles. This role involves conducting tax research, preparing tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning advice to both individual and corporate clients, with a focus on high net worth individuals and small businesses. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation of corporate and individual tax returns.
- Conduct thorough tax research to inform planning strategies and ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
- Provide tax planning services to high net worth individuals and small businesses.
- Assist in tax audits and communicate effectively with tax authorities.
- Prepare financial reports related to tax obligations and strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting principles in all tax-related activities.
- Utilize financial analysis and SAP tools to enhance tax reporting accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Experience using SAP and advanced Excel for financial analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
