The Demand Planning & Purchasing Manager will oversee the forecasting and purchasing functions to ensure optimal inventory levels and seamless supply chain operations. This role will focus on managing demand forecasts, procurement strategies, and supplier relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals. The Demand Planning & Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in minimizing stockouts, optimizing purchasing efficiency, and supporting new product launches.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create and manage demand forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and promotional plans.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align demand planning with business objectives.
• Analyze inventory levels and adjust purchasing plans to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Support new product launches by coordinating initial demand forecasts and procurement activities.
• Track and report key metrics, such as forecast accuracy, purchasing efficiency, and inventory turnover.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning and procurement operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and demand planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the CPG or eCommerce industry.
• Familiarity with supplier performance management and contract negotiations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and visualization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of global sourcing and procurement best practices.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000
