Accountant III
Onsite in Orlando, FL – Research Parkway by UCF Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains financial records & ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Ability to read and interpret Government contracts and modifications.
- Knowledge of indirect burdens and how they are applied to direct costs.
- Interact and support program managers, and contracts staff requests for information.
- Prepare and submit accurate vouchers and necessary backup to the Government and other customers in a timely manner.
- Timely posting of assigned AR vouchers
- Government Contract accounting experience in the areas of billing & accounts receivable
- Extensive knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Proficient knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
- Bachelor's degree in related field ( preferred) or associate degree required with at least four (4) years of professional level accounting experience.
- Familiarity with annual Incurred Cost Submissions to the government ( preferred)
- Experience working with Government and public auditors and support for audit requests (preferred)
