Now Hiring: Security Officer – $20/Hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and a proactive approach to risk management. Veterans and retirees are encouraged to apply.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $20/hour

• Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Physical Requirement: Ability to stand for up to 8 hours

• Technology Use: Must be comfortable using GPS-enabled reporting software with date and time-stamped entries every 10 minutes

• Conflict Resolution: Must demonstrate strong skills in conflict resolution and managing confrontational or high-risk situations with composure, professionalism, and a focus on safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, trespassing, and other violations

• Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, gates, and other access points

• Enforce property rules and regulations respectfully and professionally

• Respond to and document suspicious or criminal activity

• Identify and report safety hazards (e.g., fire risks, water leaks)

• Coordinate with emergency personnel during high-risk incidents

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a security officer, including at least 3 years with a one employer

• Valid Class D Security License

• Clean criminal background and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred

• Proficient in using standard security equipment and digital reporting tools

• Physically capable of performing patrols and standing for extended periods

• Detail-oriented with strong situational awareness
