Senior Project Manager

Title: Senior Project Manager – Commercial Metal Framing, Drywall & InsulationÂ
Compensation: $110,000–$125,000 base salary + bonus; potential for higher compensation based on experience Â

About the Job:Â

Lakeside HR Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a specialty commercial construction company in Fort Myers, Florida. Our client is a trusted provider of drywall and acoustical ceiling solutions, known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship on commercial projects across the Southeast.Â

This role is responsible for managing commercial drywall projects from planning through completion. The Project Manager will oversee project timelines, budgets, and execution, ensuring that jobs are delivered profitably, safely, and with the highest quality standards. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to balance technical expertise with strong communication and leadership skills.Â

Responsibilities:Â

• Manage drywall projects from initiation to closeout, including estimating support, material procurement, scheduling, and punch lists.Â
• Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to ensure all expectations and risks are clearly understood.Â
• Maintain budgets, monitor job costs, and ensure projects meet profitability goals.Â
• Oversee project schedules on a daily and weekly basis to ensure timely delivery.Â
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout each project.Â
• Collaborate with field superintendents and foremen to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-driven execution.Â
• Prepare billing requests, track payments, and support collections as needed.
• Negotiate material buyouts and coordinate with suppliers to secure best pricing.Â
• Resolve project issues by troubleshooting and offering technical drywall expertise.Â
• Support business development efforts by building strong client relationships and representing the company professionally.Â

Qualifications:Â

• 5+Â years of proven project management experience; commercial drywall and/or ceiling project experience preferred.Â
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and contracts.Â
• Experience with construction project management software; proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff and QuickBid preferred.Â
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Â
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Â
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Â
