Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities
- Install irrigation systems according to specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Lay and connect water lines.
- Install irrigation fixtures, pumps, timers, and valves.
- Perform preventative maintenance on irrigation systems, including winterizing the system.
- Test installed systems to ensure proper operation.
- Use established methods to develop watering schedules and avoid waste.
- Ensure installed irrigation systems conform to city codes.
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts.
- Renovate or remove old irrigation systems.
- Keep records as required.

Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an irrigation installer or technician.
- Certification: Irrigation installer/auditor certification preferred.
