LPN
Pay: $20.10-$26.30.
Shift: Rotating Mondays and Tuesdays. No weekends.
Part-Time: One 10 hr shift per week.
The Licensed Caregiver – LPN/LVN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. What You’ll Do:
- Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift.
- Observe and report on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively.
- Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Supporting residents with medication.
- Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community.
- Toileting, incontinent care.
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones.
- Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor.
- Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly.
- Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices.
- Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.
- Demonstrates effective time management skills.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- Maintain CEU requirements.
- Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Staff supervision.
- Assessment and resident care skills;
- Medication management principles and practice; and
- Written and verbal communication skills.
