Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule
• Must have scrub experience and 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
• Cardiac call required - approximately 6 minimum per month, may be up to 10 if short staffed
• Call includes 1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts (weekends are 24-hour shifts)
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs and perform other cases if no CVOR cases available
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each
• Time-sensitive modules required (non-billable, average 6-15 hours) completed pre-start and annually
• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Scrub color: Ceil blue

• Must present all RTO at time of submission only

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching hospital features 230 total staffed beds with an 18-bed cardiac operating room unit. The facility maintains a daily census of 55-60 patients and operates as a smoke-free environment with strict compliance policies. The organization utilizes Epic charting systems and provides comprehensive cardiac surgical services with advanced equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and various specialized cardiac and vascular surgical capabilities.
