Cook – Full Time – TISHCO Properties is looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our kitchen staff. This individual will be expected to coordinate the preparation, and cooking of foods prepared at our Senior Living Facility. Along with working closely with the Kitchen Manager, Head Cook, or Executive Director to ensure the community meets the quality of standards set forth by TISHCO Properties.
TISHCO Properties LLC and its subsidiary companies form a full-service real estate development, construction and management provider for the multifamily housing industry. TISHCO Properties is built upon the principal, staff and professional experience of affiliates which have maintained a successful management program for approximately 40 years. TISHCO Properties mission is “To improve the quality of life at home for ourselves, our investors, our residents and our business associates.”
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
- Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company
- standards.
- Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
- Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, push, pull, reach overhead, climb, grasp effectively and lift up to 25 pounds - 50 pounds on occasion
- Familiarity with appropriate PPE
- Previous food service experience preferred
