We have grown through acquisitions and now have an internal sales team growing our business even more! Our approach is different than a traditional accounting firm in that we cater to small businesses and provide an affordable monthly service package that bundles accounting, tax and payroll together.

Our Tax Administrator plays a critical role in supporting our small to medium sized business clients and our Tax Team on a year-round basis. This role will support our Lake Mary, Florida location and the clients in that area. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in helping us to provide support to the Tax Department including assembly of tax return packages, e-file processing and tax engagement letters.

This role will be located in the Lake Mary, Florida and will be a 5 day/week in-office role.

What Will You Do? Our newest team member will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:

Your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding personal service to a section of our small business clientele in the following areas:

• Oversee the receipt, review and processing of tax documents for clients.
• Complete the assembly of tax returns including document scanning, filing and archiving, including ensuring all e-filing is completed.
• Act as an advocate on behalf of clients for resolution of any issues with the IRS as needed (i.e.- tax notice resolutions, questions on taxes, etc.)
• Participate in tax season events scheduling and coordination for client appointments and meetings.
• Ensure any outstanding financial charges/penalties are made on a timely basis.
• Plans, supervises, review and completes client engagements/tax project work.
• Develop long-standing relationships with clients through a high level of client service interactions.
• Keep current on tax laws/regulation changes.

• Is located in Lake Mary, FL at our office on International Parkway.

What Do You Bring to Us? Our key attributes for consideration include:

• High School degree with 2-3 years relative experience in an accounting firm OR an Associates degree with relative experience in an accounting firm.
• Previous experience working with the IRS on tax related matters for clients.
• Minimum 1-2 years focused on corporate and individual tax returns.
• Must be tech savvy and experienced with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite.
• Experience with UltraTax and Thomson Reuters software is a big plus but not required.
• Upbeat, confident personality allowing for client and government entity interactions.
• Desire to learn and grow your professional skills; desire for growth and contribution is a key area.
