IT Finance Manager

Max Bill Rate: $85/hr (firm, no annual increase)

Work Hours: Flex between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (may include Saturdays)

Telecommute: Not authorized – Onsite only

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Finance Manager to join its Office of Information Technology. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for driving financial planning, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement for IT investments and budgeting.

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of financial acumen, IT cost modeling, and public-sector compliance knowledge .

✅ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze IT financials and present findings to senior leadership

• Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and expenditure monitoring

• Lead contract and purchase order payment reviews

• Ensure financial compliance with Florida Statutes and Admin Codes

• Develop dashboards, cost models, variance analyses, and financial reports

• Implement process improvements, reporting tools, and internal guides

• Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate cross-functionally between IT, Finance, and Procurement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field

• 5–7 years of financial management experience, including:

  • Leading teams in economic analysis, cost analysis, and financial planning

  • Managing IT budgets and forecasting models

• Experience with:

  • Florida Statewide Financial Management Systems

  • Florida legislative budget processes

• Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving change
