Probate Paralegal
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (Full-Time, In-Office)
A full-service estate planning, probate, administration, and litigation law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an experienced and highly organized Probate Paralegal to join its legal team. This is a full-time, in-office role for a candidate with a strong background in probate and litigation who can manage cases from inception through resolution with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of probate administration , including preparing and filing pleadings, petitions, inventories, and accountings
Support attorneys in probate litigation , including drafting discovery, assisting with trial preparation, and managing court deadlines
Prepare and file court documents with accuracy and attention to detail
Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
Monitor and manage case dockets and calendars , ensuring all deadlines are met
Conduct legal research and organize case files
Coordinate and maintain attorney schedules, hearings, depositions, and appointments
Assist in drafting correspondence and legal documents
Maintain case management system and ensure timely documentation of all case activity
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a probate paralegal , including litigation support
Proficient in Florida probate rules, procedures, and e-filing
Strong working knowledge of probate-related deadlines, terminology, and document preparation
Familiarity with court dockets and legal calendaring
Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (Clio experience is a plus)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism and discretion
