As the Senior Software Developer, you will design and develop JavaScript-based visualization and analytics applications using industry-standard design patterns, modern development methodologies, and proven deployment models. You will solve complex technical problems through thoughtful application design and product development, building software used by non-developer end users in real-world mission environments. This role emphasizes collaboration, working closely with other developers, engineers, and analysts to drive progress, share expertise, and continuously improve solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain JavaScript-based data visualization applications that support event modeling, relationship analysis, and complex data understanding.
• Apply industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models to build scalable, maintainable front-end solutions.
• Translate complex operational and technical problems into intuitive software designs and user experiences, supporting non-technical end users.
• Develop and enhance user-facing applications used by analysts, operators, and decision-makers rather than software developers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and program stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Contribute to product development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Leverage peer knowledge and industry trends to identify and adopt emerging technologies and modern development practices.
• Continuously evolve technical skills in JavaScript and complementary languages, frameworks, and UI/UX design techniques.
• Integrate front-end applications with databases and backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Support geospatial visualization and analytics capabilities, including Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, where required.

Clearance Requirement: Top-Secret / SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or in a related field, OR, a minimum of 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Fluency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js, with experience building modern, interactive web applications.
• Experience with front-end frameworks and tools, such as AngularJS, Grunt, and related JavaScript ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience developing data-driven visualization software for complex datasets and user workflows.
• Working knowledge of relational and graph databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ArangoDB, Elastic, and Dgraph.
• Experience integrating applications with RDBMS and NoSQL/graph databases.
• Familiarity with Python and backend data-processing or analytics workflows.
• Experience supporting DoD and/or Interagency organizations, with an understanding of mission-focused development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply emerging technologies, including AI/ML concepts, to modern software solutions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
