Teacher/Teacher Assistant

Essential Functions:

• Classroom management.
• Responsibilities include setting goals, evaluating performance, developing outcomes and use program and client outcomes data to improve services delivered to the children and families served.
• Prepare an Individualized education program for each student.
• Assess each student in reading, math science social studies and other subject areas.
• Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum and state guidelines.
• Teach the full range of learning areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc.
• Use computers to assist in lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
• Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
• Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including lunch breaks.
• Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress in written and oral work.
• Other duties as needed.

Required:

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Relevant teaching experience in grades 9 through 12.
• Flexible and team-oriented.

Job Details:

• Job Types: Full-time, Contract.
• $18 to $24 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday.
• School type: Private school.
• Work Location: In person.

Experience :

• 6 months to 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
