The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Stand Cooks to join our team at Miami Freedom Park in Miami, Florida. As a Stand Cook, you will prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines. Whether you are starting your cooking career or want to grow your knowledge to climb up the ladder, we’ll provide you with opportunities and mentorship to help you succeed. Apply today.

We are currently offering up to $200 in bonus payments for most of our roles, including this one! All eligible new hires will receive a $200 bonus payment after working 80 hours.

What will you do?

• Follow supervisor’s assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production
• Set up and operation of kitchen equipment
• Clean equipment properly according to correct procedures
• Keep workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked

More about you

• Ability to follow recipes and food abbreviations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time including bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching
• Able to lift 20 lbs or more
• Exposed to variable temperatures
