Lead Data Engineer

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Proficient in knowledge of business systems, applications, processes and data to support data solutions

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Guide and mentor Data Engineers and\/or Data Analysts <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Help coordinate activities, provide leadership in large projects by: <\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span> Establishing standards and providing guidance to other Data Engineers and Data Analysts <\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span> Ensures other Data Engineers and Data Analysts are following standards <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Foster communication and collaboration between different departments, communicate vision and strategy for ETL tools, pipelines, performance implication of solutions to stakeholders and leadership <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Provide strategic input and help set direction on data preparation and data modeling practices. Stay up to date with the latest tools and capabilities. <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Subject matter expert of ETL tools, pipelines, and performance implication of solutions <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Ability to design and implement highly scalable and reliable data solutions and certify the accuracy and reliability of BU data assets in an Agile environment <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Optimize and fine\-tune data solutions for enhanced efficiency and performance <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Ability to work across and within multiple methodologies\/ technologies​​\/ business domains <\/span>
<\/p>

Qualifications: <\/b>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>5+ years of SQL in a data\-related role
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span>5+ years of Data Integration and ETL tool experience <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Azure cloud platform knowledge preferred <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience with Agile methodology and Azure DevOps preferred <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience in the automotive or captive finance industry is a plus <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Detail oriented, curious, and willing to contribute as a team player <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> Excellent verbal and written communication skills <\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span> While we need a candidate who is curious, they need to be able to balance that there are times they just need to execute the task at hand and not dig into all the details given the velocity the SPARK Mod project requires. <\/span>
