Electrical Installer

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
• Identify and address electrical hazards or malfunctions, recommending adjustments or repairs as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, including the ability to discuss and sell job solutions when appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant technical education preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong knowledge of electrical code and principles
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in various environments, including residential and commercial settings
• Availability to work overtime or on-call shifts as needed
