As the Investment Counselor you'll be partnering with Relationship Managers to offer appropriate investment solutions to clients and attracting/enhancing client relationships and profitability. You'll be responsible for assessing client need, developing a comprehensive investment strategy, coordinating sales and execution against that strategy, and monitoring performance and appropriateness of the client's overall investment portfolio. Every day, you'll build trust with clients and your team in these interactions by learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions.

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $155,700 and $233,600.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience with proven track record in investment advisory; portfolio management, brokerage, or institutional sales
• Extensive knowledge of private banking business (onshore and offshore), and competitive and regulatory environment
• BS/BA degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
• Series 7 and 66 Licenses required
