POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will be a vital part of Addman’s shared services team, handling both accounts payable responsibilities and assisting with general accounting tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced hybrid work environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Accounts Payable

  • Process and verify vendor invoices and employee expense reports for multiple business units in a timely manner while ensuring accurate coding.
  • Ability to resolve invoices to PO discrepancies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process bi-weekly payment batches including NACHA files for upload into ADDMAN bank system, wire transfers and ACH payments.
  • Timely and accurately update month-end accrual trackers.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process bi-weekly payment runs to pay vendors through on-line payment portal.
  • Process employee expense reports in Concur to ensure that all expense reports are processed and can be posted at the month end
  • Help maintain Concur data that is always has the most up to date information.

Cash and Accounting

  • Post daily cash transactions from the bank into Addman general ledger.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Including, but not exclusive list:
  • Monthly account reconciliations for both bank and GL.
  • Compiling and tracking monthly AP accruals.
  • Verify, finalize and enter all Receiving transactions for the period.
  • Other projects and duties related to accounting as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 6-10 years public/private manufacturing accounts payable experience, preferred.
  • ERP systems experience preferred, Infor, QuickBooks, Bank of America.
  • Proficient Excel skills required
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) experience required.
