Advanced Practice Provider - Hospitalist/Nocturnist - Stroke Team

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic Hospitalist Group. Nocturnist schedule: 7 on 7 off, 7pm-7am. This unique role combines inpatient care management with rapid response to Stroke Alerts, supporting our designation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Quaternary Level of Neurology Care in the Big Bend Region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary responder to Stroke Alerts, ensuring timely and effective intervention.

• Collaborate with hospitalist physicians and stroke neurologists to deliver comprehensive stroke care.

• Assist in the management of inpatient populations when not responding to stroke cases.

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning and coordination.

Qualifications:

• Licensed ARNP or PA in the state of Florida (or eligible for licensure).

• Strong clinical acumen and interest in neurology and hospital medicine.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.

No prior Stroke experience is required, and training will be provided.
