JOB SUMMARY:

This is an Operations Review Specialist position within the General Tax Administration Program, Taxpayer Services Process, Resource Support Group. The incumbent conducts organizational studies to analyze data and strategies, recommends changes to policies and procedures to improve efficiency and data integrity, and provides technical assistance to help organizations operate more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the incumbent may conduct program analysis, management consulting, and examination development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Two years of experience analyzing operational problems or issues and recommending corrective actions for improvement.
  • Two years of experience with developing operational reports, technical writings such as operational manuals, procedures, guides, operator instructions for systems operations, or reporting.
  • One year of experience as a leader, facilitator, or member for special team assignments or projects to implement key process elements or measures.

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience with Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with Contact Center technology.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $4,556.24 monthly/$54,674.86 annually.
