Mika, the Mediterranean restaurant by James Beard Award–winning Chef Michael White, is seeking polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food, wine, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a refined, high-energy environment.

Servers at Mika are ambassadors of the brand, providing warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Deliver attentive, gracious, and personalized service to every guest

• Guide guests through the menu, including food and beverage pairings

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns

• Maintain a calm and polished presence during high-volume service

Service Standards

• Execute service steps according to Mika’s standards and training

• Accurately take and enter orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar

• Maintain table maintenance, timing, and pacing throughout the meal

• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate when necessary

Product Knowledge

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and ingredients

• Maintain familiarity with wine, cocktails, and beverage offerings

• Stay current on menu changes and seasonal updates

Teamwork & Professionalism

• Collaborate closely with hosts, bartenders, runners, and management

• Support teammates to ensure smooth service flow

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Adhere to all company policies, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience required; upscale or fine-dining experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
