Position Overview

All Points Investigations, LLC is seeking a highly capable OSINT Researcher / Investigator to support complex, high-stakes investigative engagements on an ad hoc, as-needed basis. This role is designed for professionals who can move beyond surface-level searching and deliver actionable intelligence, attribution, and defensible findings under real-world conditions.

This is not a passive research role. Candidates must demonstrate applied tradecraft, analytical judgment, and operational discipline across diverse investigative environments including corporate risk, cyber incidents, fraud, brand abuse, and human-centric investigations.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced open-source intelligence (OSINT) investigations across clear, deep, and dark web environments (within legal and ethical boundaries)
• Perform entity attribution by correlating fragmented identifiers (usernames, emails, phone numbers, domains, IPs, etc.)
• Analyze leaked/compromised data sources (lawfully obtained) to support investigative leads
• Execute cross-platform pivoting to uncover hidden relationships and behavioral patterns
• Produce clear, defensible reports with documented methodologies, sources, and confidence levels
• Support time-sensitive investigations with rapid turnaround requirements
• Assist in identifying risk indicators, threat actors, fraud patterns, or reputational exposure
• Maintain strict operational security (OPSEC) and confidentiality standards at all times

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in OSINT, investigations, intelligence analysis, or related field
• Proven ability to conduct multi-source correlation and attribution
• Strong understanding of:
• Digital footprinting and identity resolution
• Online behavioral patterns and deception indicators
• Ability to produce structured, professional reports suitable for legal, corporate, or investigative use
• High level of discretion, judgment, and integrity

Preferred / Advanced Capabilities

• Experience with attribution in cyber or financial investigations (crypto tracing a plus)
• Understanding of international investigative considerations and cross-border data challenges

Compensation

• Compensation is commensurate with experience, capability, and demonstrated performance
• Engagements may be structured as:
• Hourly rates
• Per-project fees
• Retainer-based support (for high-performing contractors)

Confidentiality & Data Handling

Contractor will be required to:

• Execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Adhere to strict data handling, storage, and destruction protocols
