Job Details:

• 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week or 8/10 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 2 years of direct RN OR experience required with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neuroscience experience
• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Must pass EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum for each)
• Extensive surgical skills required including laparoscopic procedures, robotics (Da Vinci Xi), orthopedic procedures, neurosurgery, and general surgery
• Experience with robotic surgical systems including colorectal, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, neurological, orthopedic, and urologic robotic surgery
• Must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Teaching facility - must be willing to participate in training students and new staff
• 18 operating rooms with daily census of 55 patients
• Must be nicotine-free with negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required
• All time off requests must be submitted at time of application
• Strict attendance policy with no-call restrictions
