Job Description

We seek candidates who can deliver high-caliber instruction in the general field of Earth Surface Processes in both introductory and higher-level undergraduate Geoscience courses, on campus and on-line. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in college-wide instructional activities designed to enhance the educational experience at UF, including the creation of innovative general education science classes with relevant geoscience content, and strengthen undergraduate pathways to professional careers. Departmental service and curriculum development, in collaboration with other faculty members in the department and across campus, will support the mission of building a vibrant educational environment. Required Qualifications:

Completion of a M.Sc. degree in Earth Sciences/Geosciences or a related field with at least five years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

The successful candidate will have completed a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences/Geosciences or a related field by 15 August 2026.
