Maintenance Technician

Multi-craft Maintenance Technician

Pay: $30-33per hour

In this position, you’ll be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to generally accepted safety, predictive and productive maintenance principles and processes.

*Key Functions:*

* Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.

* Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.

* Act as lead in major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects

* Act as a mentor/coach to assist in skills and knowledge development in other team members

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies

* Comply with safety regulations

* Maintain clean and orderly work areas

* Assist departmental leadership with housekeeping and 5S standards

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

*Successful candidates will have:*

* Industrial maintenance experience

* High school diploma or GED; post-secondary electrical and/or mechanical vocational training preferred

* Strong troubleshooting skills

* Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics

* Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback

* Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems

* Project management experience

* Basic machining and welding skills

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
