Statement of Work — Civil Engineer - Land Development EI
Full-service multi-disciplined firm in Longwood, FL. Certified Engineer Intern, 0-4 years experience. Large firm project diversity in modest individualized environment.
Experience Requirements
- Project Coordination
- Understanding of general Civil Engineering design principles
- Construction Document preparation for competitive construction bidding a plus
- Experience in Site Geometry, Utility Services, Site Grading, Storm Drainage, Stormwater Management, Stormwater Pollution Prevention, Local Agency Code Analysis a plus
Qualifications
- BS Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
- 1-4 years experience, EI License required
- AutoCAD, MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads a plus
- Proficiency in Excel; ICPR, WaterCad, AutoTurn a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform civil site facility analysis and design
- Prepare conceptual designs, final design and construction plans under direction of Engineer of Record
- Perform engineering calculations in support of civil engineering design
- Assemble construction and permit documents including plans and reports
- Preparation of applications and forms for plan approvals and permitting
- Provide engineering support during construction
- Coordination with in-house and out-of-office team members
