• Hourly: $30.34 - $42.47 based on experience

Responsibilities

• Full-time schedule M-F 3 pm – 11 pm
• Inpatient and/or outpatient setting
• Operate CT Scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
• You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
• Determine the most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed
• Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures
• Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures
• Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department
• Complete the required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
• One year of experience in performing CT is preferred
• Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire
