Our agency opened in 2003 and has grown into a strong team of 12 who work closely together to serve our customers well. Ive been with State Farm for 35 years, serving in management roles and as an agent in Pennsylvania before opening this office. That depth of experience has shaped the way I lead and support our team. I studied Marine Biology at East Stroudsburg University and have always loved fishing. Im married with four children, and family has always been a central part of my life. That same commitment to teamwork and support carries into our office culture. We offer regular team-building events, team outings, and keep the office stocked with free drinks and coffee. As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Jeff Thummel - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. As an attentive, sociable, and sales-minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
