MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Medical Oncology

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for oncology patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and procedures
• Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay informed about advancements in oncology and treatment methodologies

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Experience in medical oncology or a related field (Associate level)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development

Schedule: 4-day workweek, 8-hour shifts

Rotating call shifts

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Census: 18-20 per day

Duties: General medical oncology caseload

Will participate in virtual tumor boards

Clinical trial and research opportunities are available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
