ESSENTIAL DUTIES and KNOWLEDGE:

• Deliver coffee and related products, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory
• Seek and qualify prospects in accordance with Company account goals
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and service to meet needs
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs and goals
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided
• Compile lists of prospective customers in assigned territory for use as sales leads
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit sales orders
• Penetrate accounts in order to increase profitability by selling additional line items in all product categories
• Increase gross profit in accounts through targeted penetration of profitable sales categories
• Personally demonstrate products to prospects and customers
• Review accounts receivable with the credit department regularly and follows-up to assist in the collection of past due monies
• Participate in sales activities such as scheduled early morning or evening sales meetings, off site trade shows, district meetings, and special training.
• Safely operate commercial company vehicle and preform all duties in a safe manner
• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• One (1) year direct sales experience; or two (1) year beverage experience
• High School diploma or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities; should also have problem solving ability and negotiation skills; will need to be familiar with Microsoft office products

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The physical requirements are consistent with those necessary for the employee to successfully perform their duties. The employee must regularly move and/or lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to

50 pounds.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Must pass Background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,520.00 - $46,800.00 per year
