Commodity Manager
We are excited to share this opportunity we are recruiting for an international high-technology group manufacturing for aerospace and defense industry.
This role for Commodity Manager will be onsite in Sarasota and work with a team of 3 and reporting to Head of Purchasing Americas.
In this role you will be responsible to define the purchasing strategy for the Company and Division focusing on circuit breakers, generators, rotors manufacturing, testing and repair.
The role will focus on
- Strategy Development and Imlementation
- Supplier Management
- Contract Negotiation
- Cost Optimization & Value Creation
- Supplier Performance Monitoring
Our ideal candidate would have;
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Purchasing
- Proven experience in sourcing or commodity management
- 5 years of experience in strategic procurement and purchasing negotiations within a very fast-paced manufacturing sector such as Aerospace, Automotive or High-Tech.
- proficiciency with ERP Systems, SAP a huge plus and Excel
