As a Systems Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer.
● Designs server and application architectures; performs administrative operation and maintenance functions of server hardware and software
● Maintains system security and executes common practices and procedures; monitors usage statistics and logs
● Institutes troubleshooting and incident response procedures. Troubleshoots system related problems.
● Recommends future direction or projects to management. Provides expertise and direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system

• Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Engineer Senior must have:
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of Systems Engineering functions/roles
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI security clearance
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements:
• Has experience with Virtualization, Windows, Storage, Linux, and McAfee
• Experience with ICAM, PAM, Zero-trust solutions is a plus
• Exchange, SharePoint, SQL expertise a plus
• Specific knowledge of RHEL, Splunk, OpenShift is a plus
