Bilingual Fleet Dispatcher

Job Summary:

The Dispatcher is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and dispatching of our customer's freight. The role owns the relationship with our valued Independent Contractors and is instrumental in the successful coordination of the timely and accurate delivery of goods. The key responsibilities of this function are to provide exceptional support to our drivers, be quick to respond to questions and troubleshoot concerns, and to proactively monitor the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serve as driver's supervisor/representative in Operations.
• Manage driver's performance in identified categories and be the primary communication link to drivers.
• Work to achieve optimum driver and customer satisfaction.
• Sole communications link to the driver, including, but not limited to load information, purchase orders, maintenance coordination, performance counseling, and dissemination of general company news and information.
• Responsible for assigned full fleet of tractors and drivers.
• On-time pickup and delivery performance.
• Ensure that each driver has an adequate understanding of all details of customer and company expectations on each.
• Load at the point of dispatch.
• Daily accounting of all assigned trucks and drivers.

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be bilangual and speak Spanish fluently

Understands and applies office various computer software programs (Microsoft Office) to automate manual processes.

Strong attention to detail and processes

Possess good written and oral communication skills

Experience in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Teams

Data organization

Supervisory experience - Preferred •

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma

Communication skills

Microsoft Office, Outlook,

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.

Must be able to lift and move up to 15 pounds at a time.
