Multi‑Axis CNC Setup and Operations Specialist

Join the team that turns prints into parts with speed and accuracy. In this role, you’ll own setups, offsets, and program validations while keeping quality front and center and equipment running at its best.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to build reliable setups and execute production.
• Maintain a working understanding of all shop processes and how they connect.
• Operate confidently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to keep machines ready for the next job.
• Partner with Engineering on First Run parts and program validation.
• Adjust machine offsets promptly to correct out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Verify fixture setups to meet established quality standards.
• Configure machine controls: spindle positioning, depth of cut, speed, feed, and coolant parameters.
• Run manual and CNC equipment as needed to meet production goals.

Must-Haves

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Communication: Read and comprehend basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small groups.
• Math: Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Problem-Solving: Use practical judgment to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine issues with multiple variables.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with personal computers.
