Security Guard

Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring and securing company property during weekends. This role involves controlling access to the facility, verifying personnel entry, conducting routine patrols, and ensuring overall safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries enter.
• Verify identification and validate entry credentials against approved access lists.
• Conduct periodic patrols of the yard using a golf cart to ensure security and report any unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any security incidents, safety concerns, or suspicious activities.
• Act as the first responder to security or safety incidents, following company protocols.
• Observe security cameras and alarm systems for any unusual activities.
• Ensure all gates, doors, and access points are properly secured.
• Provide general assistance to employees and visitors as needed while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent observational skills, and effective communication abilities.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Involves time spent in both an office setting and the boatyard.
• Requires frequent standing and walking.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions while patrolling the yard.
