Cleaning & Restoration Technician Job Summary
Assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the companys obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial cleaning services. This position is full time Tuesday through Saturday. Cleaning & Restoration Technician Responsibilities
- Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers
- Participate in the companys sales meetings and increase the average specialty cleaning ticket through upselling value-added products.
- Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation, authorizations, and customer invoices.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Inspect completed work.
- Complete the technicians daily log.
- Complete Work Orders.
- Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
- Maintain inventory of related supplies.
- Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
- Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
- Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
- 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
- Highly Desired Certificates from Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)
- Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)* preferred, but not required
- Specialty Floor & Upholstery Cleaning Crew Chief
- Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
- Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
- Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS)
- Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
