Our client, a respected Florida-based construction company with over 40 years of success, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment , enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in keeping financial operations accurate and on track.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and send invoices for goods and services.
• Accurately record and process customer payments.
• Contact clients by phone, email, or mail regarding past-due accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
• Address billing inquiries and disputes promptly and professionally.
• Prepare AR aging reports and financial summaries for management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and accounting standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts at once.
• Analytical ability to spot financial discrepancies and potential risks.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve disputes quickly and effectively.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Excel .
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
