Accountant
We are seeking a Accountant who wants to be part of our success and join our commercial property management team. If you are enthusiastic with a great attitude and looking for full time work in a professional, property management environment, then this is the place for you!
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Monthly invoicing for tenants, customers for multiple real estate properties
- Process accounts payable
- Print checks and mail upon receiving signature
- Answering vendor inquiries in place of management
- Processing of bank deposits
- Responsible for bookkeeping for sizable real estate portfolio
- Conduct financial research into opportunities to increase revenue/decrease expenses
- Variation analysis – identify and implement process improvements
Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting a plus
- 1+ year’s accounting experience
- Yardi Premier or Voyager a plus, if not similar real estate software package
- Excellent PC skills including Intermediate Excel
- Must have excellent communications skills to interact with multiple levels of staff and management
- Must have ability to multi-task and handle high volume of varied responsibilities, accurately and professionally
- Must be very accurate and detail-oriented
