Position Overview

We are seeking a PerDiem Contract Therapist with specialized training in gambling disorder to facilitate one weekly gamblingfocused therapy group and provide individual counseling sessions to clients enrolled in our gambling treatment track. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who wants to expand their expertise in a specialized and rapidly growing treatment area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate one weekly gamblingspecific therapy group.
• Provide onetoone sessions for clients whose primary treatment issue is gambling disorder (you will NOT be their Primary Therapist), you will be an extension of their treatment team.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support integrated care.
• Attend clinical meetings or supervision as required (may be virtual).
• Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed or licenseeligible mental health professional (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience treating gambling disorder or other behavioral addictions.
• Strong group facilitation skills and ability to provide structured, evidencebased care.

Required Gambling Certification (must hold at least ONE):

• ICGCI International Certified Gambling CounselorI
  • Requires gamblingspecific training, supervised clinical hours, and successful completion of the gambling counselor exam. [ipggc.org]

  • Advanced credential requiring over 2,000 hours of experience supporting individuals with gambling disorder. [linkedin.com]
• CGAC Certified Gambling Addiction Counselor (Florida)
  • Floridas established state credential for licensed mental health providers offering gambling treatment services. [gamblinghelp.org]
