Field Service Technician — Sauna, Steam & Wellness Equipment

About the Role:

Florida Hot Tub & Sauna is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, start up, troubleshoot, and maintain sauna, steam, and specialty wellness equipment in luxury residential and commercial environments.

This role blends mechanical, technical, and light electrical work. You’ll work from manufacturer specifications, diagrams, and project plans while supporting installations across South Florida.

What You’ll Do:

• Install and service sauna heaters, steam generators, control systems, lighting, ventilation components, and specialty wellness features.
• Perform equipment startup, testing, calibration, and commissioning .
• Troubleshoot mechanical, control‑system, and performance issues on-site.
• Complete preventative maintenance for residential and commercial clients.
• Document work clearly in Service Fusion/work order systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle with tools and common parts.
• Coordinate with Operations for scheduling, parts, and follow‑ups.
• Provide professional, customer‑focused service in high‑end environments.

What You Bring:

Required:

• 3–5+ years of field service, mechanical, HVAC, appliance repair, or related hands‑on technical experience.
• Comfort working with basic electrical connections , control wiring, and equipment components (training provided).
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Clean, organized workmanship and attention to detail.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Professional communication and customer‑service skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with sauna/steam brands — training provided .
• Background in HVAC, pool heaters, appliances, or specialty equipment.
• Familiarity with wet/damp‑location installation standards.
• Comfortable working on ladders, in mechanical rooms, and in finished luxury interiors.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Full‑time role based out of Hollywood, FL .
• Field service throughout Broward, Miami‑Dade, and Palm Beach counties, and other counties as needed.
• Occasional emergency or priority service calls.
