Rapidly growing Florida Workers Compensation and personal Injury law firm is seeking a highly capable and motivated paralegal, who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in workers compensation. Applicants must be able to multi-task, possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and must be able to exist in a fast-paced work environment. This position is onsite Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various legal, administrative and clerical tasks to support the firm’s services. Duties Include:
- Drafting discovery requests and responses and managing discovery deadlines.
- Preparing medical record composites and summaries
- Preparing and organizing exhibits for trials and depositions and completing pre-trials.
- Review and draft routine legal documents and e-file documents.
- Preparing settlement documents
Job Requirements:
- Must have 3 years of paralegal experience in the field of Workers' Compensation Law
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred
- Must have outstanding organizational skills
- Must be a self-starter, proactive and resourceful
- Must have excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic
