Assembly Technician II

Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Melbourne, FL . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations
• Mechanical and electronic assemblies and subassemblies of:
  • Modules
  • Boards
  • Panels
  • Drawers
  • Frames
  • Cables
• Follow diagrams, drawings, blueprint lines, and index points
• Design initial layouts
• Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures
• Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
• Follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, including:
  • FAA-approved internal procedures
  • Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Technical data
  • Work package instructions
• Perform serviceability tests as needed:
  • Use test equipment specified in technical manuals
• Complete work package documentation as needed by FAA and repair station manual
• Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness
• Inspect completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off
  • Ensure that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (2nd shift). M-F, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM

Length: Contract to Direct

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of experience in the aviation or aerospace industries.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Good decision-making and leadership skills.
• Experience with aviation interiors/seats manufacturing.
• Proficient in riveting, installing related hardware, using precision instruments, and utilizing hand tools to perform these tasks.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

• Ability to work different shifts and flexible hours if needed.
