*Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.*

* Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
* Evaluates and advises students
* Participates in departmental and College affairs
* Develops curricula
* Recruits students
* Serves on committees
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Master's degree in Music from a regionally accredited institution or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in Music
* Teaching experience at the college or community college level preferred
* Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
* Must possess excellent organizational skills
